Consulting

Dr. Cooper serves as an expert witness for both defense and plaintiff cases involving various endocrine issues.  He has reviewed 100+ medical legal cases regarding criminal, malpractice, correctional medicine, and patent cases.  Although Dr. Cooper can consult in any area of endocrinology, his particular area of interest involves hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and its relationship to operation
​of motor vehicles. Dr. Cooper is also a SEAK alumnus.

​Dr. Cooper performs file reviews in disability cases involving internal medicine and endocrinology issues.  He has reviewed 1000+ cases.  His work is done primarily through independent review organizations or directly through insurance companies.  Dr. Cooper is also a SEAK alumnus. 

Expert ​Knowledge Consulting

​Dr. Cooper has consulted on various topics related to endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.  He consults to pharma, biotech, and equity/investment firms regarding emerging therapies and disease landscapes.  He participates in phone interviews, focus groups, and online surveys.  Most of his work is performed through expert knowledge brokers, but he can be contacted directly for projects.

Dr. Cooper is available for either one-on-one personal consulting, group consulting, or lectures, on topics related to physician burnout through integration of non-clinical work with clinical work, creating a more satisfying blend that creates balance and reduces physician burnout.   He can assist in finding opportunities based on personal circumstances
