Robert J. Cooper, MD, FACP, FACE is currently practicing the specialty of Endocrine, Diabetes, and Metabolism, with experience in both private and academic practices for 20+ years. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, as well as a Fellow of American College of Endocrinology (FACE) and Fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP). He graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York, and did his internal medicine internship and residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital, New Hyde Park, New York. He did his fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at Long Island Jewish Hospital, New Hyde Park, New York and Winthrop University Hospital, Mineola, New York.
In addition to maintaining an active clinical practice, he also is involved in non-clinical activities such as disability file consulting, medicolegal consulting work, locum tenens, and expert knowledge consulting.
